This is the cover I designed for the Lasalle Yearbook 2009 with the theme Unravel and Capture. I based my design from its theme. At first I find it difficult to interpret the theme of the Yearbook but with the help of Mary Grace, she give me one word that give me the idea on how to connect all the dots in the puzzle and the word was UNTANGLE. Its like eating something but first you have to open its wrap to unravel the food inside and eat it, thats how you capture it.

The design above of the hand is the cover of the box of the yearbook. It has different colors which signifies the different colleges of the University of St. La Salle and the hand is wrap around by strings. For me those strings represents hardships and trials in our day to day lives but despite those trials we should still continue living and also reach out to others as what the hand symbolizes. There are some parts of the hand that do not have yet shaded color, its an empty space since we do not know everything, there are still so much we need to learn and we should always be open for those learnings.
